Conservatism vs Liberalism is a distraction

Today's thoughts:

The more I read online the more I pray, I understand that despite what we may believe the issues we're experiencing in this nation are really not between Left and Right political parties so much as is between Darkness and Light. (I am conservative and wold not doom my liberal leaning-Obama loving 5 year nephew to eternal socialist hell--or anyone else for that matter).

I've been thinking of a way to introduce liberals to the true conservatives to help dispel the stereotypes.(funny how they stereotype "us" as so different from "them" where "us" are stuffy white men and "them" are fun enlightened and ethnically diverse....said the african-american conservative woman to the presumably caucasian liberal empathizer)

God is showing me a different perspective on these issues as being between he calls

----usury and unjust gain vs justly governing national affairs---

From the federal banks to the federal welfare recipients we all need to repent and judge not, capitalism in the hands of the greedy businesses included will not stand in this day.

No matter the effects...the cause rests solely upon the Christians charged with being salt and light to preserve God's will and scatter darkness from this earth.

A Very Important Lesson for Creative Conservatives

Today I am so happy that I have my own little space in the blogosphere! I never thought I would say that but lately my online activity has been buzzing and frankly noisey! I am slowly getting into twitter ...slowly... and noticed a tweet about the negative effects of rehashing bad news, events, experiences, etc.

The tweet suggested that we resist the temptation to spend large amounts of time talking about negative things that happen to us, even to our closest friends, because typically the retelling is more like re-living, and really, who needs that?

You know how you feel when you find out that someone in your office has assigned you to do yet another task, or, while you were busy with one project, they come along, take credit or change another of your projects? Here is my remedy:

I heard a sermon recently (the tweet reminded me of all of this, and this is my point) that encouraged me to refrain from competitiveness and to choose creativity instead. The sermon suggested that when we are competitive in our work and business, for example, we spend too much energy focusing on what the "competition" is doing, rather than realizing there is enough room for all the creativity God placed in each of us.

think about it, and run your own race and you will win!

CPAC, CFR and, The Constitution

A great speech overall, but I have a few issues with it, and with the speaker.

First of all, you will notice in the second paragraph that he mentions the "inarguable truth" in the preamble to the U.S. Constitution that we are endowed by our creator with the inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Before I continue, let me mention that he was awarded the "Defender of the Constitution" award.

The preamble to the Constitution, you know, the "We the People" document, doesn't say anything about life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness; that's a quote from the Declaration of Independence.

IT'S RACIST.....

to say one word against Christians. That's just racist. And it's shows one is Christ-phobic. Is that stupid of me to say??
Why??
Because Christians are so many diverse races??
And because it's propaganda to apply the word "phobic" to one's dissenting detractors??

I'd agree.

Equally, Islam is full of different races. To say that anyone who critiques them is "Islam-phobic" is as ridiculous as calling that person "racist".

When will people stop to think with objectivity?

Instead of being so full of hatred for white Christians that they bounce to the degree of defending a misogynist, racist, genocidal belief system of Islam that hates women (enslaves and murders them) and seeks the genocide murder all Jews, atheists, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, basically everyone.

You folks who hate white Christians - you're overcompensating.

Detach from your blind hate of the Christian religion and white Christians -- and stop being so reactionary.

See Islam for what it is - you'll be able to once you stop hating white Christians so very much that you're too emotional to be objective and to see all the evil and danger of the Islamic demand for global domination, etc.

Many of us wanted HER for those reasons. Here is where she warned American voters. Perhaps it was her motherwit combined with that great smile that distracted some us from listening to Sarah tell us who and what she is about. Had her critics spent time listening to her WORDS, they would have gotten this big Heads Up:

"But listening to him {BO} speak, it's easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or reform - not even in the state senate.
This is a man who can give an entire speech about the wars America is fighting, and never use the word "victory" except when he's talking about his own campaign. Many thought she was just being mean-spirited...well guess what...they were wrong! The good news in this post is this:

A. Self-righteousness of those who are "black kettle-calling" that otherwise may not have surfaced so quickly,

B. Thanks in part to the Exponential Information sharing that is successfully galvanizing conservatism

Both of which should be tremendously helpful as all politicians clean up their acts (only God knows how much more damage may have been done), and as we move into a new era of elections!
