CPAC, CFR and, The Constitution
h/t The Ideations of a Jayhawker
"We want every American to be the best he or she chooses to be.
We recognize that we are all individuals. We love and revere our founding documents, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. [Applause]
We believe that the preamble to the Constitution contains an inarguable truth that we are all endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, among them life. [Applause] Liberty, Freedom. [Applause] And the pursuit of happiness. [Applause]
Those of you watching at home may wonder why this is being applauded. We conservatives think all three are under assault. [Applause] Thank you. Thank you." ~Rush Limbaugh
A great speech overall, but I have a few issues with it, and with the speaker.
First of all, you will notice in the second paragraph that he mentions the "inarguable truth" in the preamble to the U.S. Constitution that we are endowed by our creator with the inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Before I continue, let me mention that he was awarded the "Defender of the Constitution" award.
The preamble to the Constitution, you know, the "We the People" document, doesn't say anything about life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness; that's a quote from the Declaration of Independence.
"Ooh, Soory!" ~Alex Trebek

IT'S RACIST.....
to say one word against Christians. That's just racist. And it's shows one is Christ-phobic. Is that stupid of me to say??
Why??
Because Christians are so many diverse races??
And because it's propaganda to apply the word "phobic" to one's dissenting detractors??
I'd agree.
Equally, Islam is full of different races. To say that anyone who critiques them is "Islam-phobic" is as ridiculous as calling that person "racist".
When will people stop to think with objectivity?
Instead of being so full of hatred for white Christians that they bounce to the degree of defending a misogynist, racist, genocidal belief system of Islam that hates women (enslaves and murders them) and seeks the genocide murder all Jews, atheists, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, basically everyone.
You folks who hate white Christians - you're overcompensating.
Detach from your blind hate of the Christian religion and white Christians -- and stop being so reactionary.
See Islam for what it is - you'll be able to once you stop hating white Christians so very much that you're too emotional to be objective and to see all the evil and danger of the Islamic demand for global domination, etc.

The POTUS Palin WARNED Us About..

This is my favorite Palin Picture (Go Mama!)
Below is my Favorite Quote-
(I started another blog to discuss and analyze the meanings):
"But here's a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I'm not going to Washington to seek their good opinion - I'm going to Washington to serve the people of this country. Americans expect us to go to Washington for the right reasons, and not just to mingle with the right people.
Politics isn't just a game of clashing parties and competing interests.
The right reason is to challenge the status quo, to serve the common good, and to leave this nation better than we found it.
No one expects us to agree on everything.
But we are expected to govern with integrity, good will, clear convictions, and ... a servant's heart."
"But listening to him {BO} speak, it's easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or reform - not even in the state senate.
This is a man who can give an entire speech about the wars America is fighting, and never use the word "victory" except when he's talking about his own campaign. But when the cloud of rhetoric has passed ... when the roar of the crowd fades away ... when the stadium lights go out, and those Styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot - what exactly is our opponent's plan? What does he actually seek to accomplish, after he's done turning back the waters and healing the planet? The answer is to make government bigger ... take more of your money ... give you more orders from Washington ... and to reduce the strength of America in a dangerous world. America needs more energy ... our opponent is against producing it."

Many of us wanted HER for those reasons. Here is where she warned American voters. Perhaps it was her motherwit combined with that great smile that distracted some us from listening to Sarah tell us who and what she is about. Had her critics spent time listening to her WORDS, they would have gotten this big Heads Up:

Many thought she was just being mean-spirited...well guess what...they were wrong! The good news in this post is this:
Although tax scandals are more common than some may have realized, many are standing up against the
A. Self-righteousness of those who are "black kettle-calling" that otherwise may not have surfaced so quickly,
B. Thanks in part to the Exponential Information sharing that is successfully galvanizing conservatism
Both of which should be tremendously helpful as all politicians clean up their acts (only God knows how much more damage may have been done), and as we move into a new era of elections!
Joe Plumber: Couldn't talk about Palin on McCain Bus

OK this is a 30 minute interview with Joe the Plumber, in the closing minutes a caller asks him to comment on whether he noticed any of the in-fighting or drama being reported about Governor Palin, "I brought up one time how great I thought she was and no one responded.." it begins to get interesting but DOH time mysteriously runs out..
Good Work Joe!
Thanks for going on record (wonder if he names any of these crooks is in his book, Joe The Plumber?)
All I know is, whether Gov runs for POTUS or not, the RINO rangers are picking sides and it ain't ours!
Who knows, maybe we have some DINO's out there.....

ASK not what Sarah Palin can do for your country, ask only what you can do for Sarah Palin. And the an swer is, pay attention. Trust me, Alaska's governor is moving faster than those glaciers.
Traveling with one of her ladies-in-waiting and invited by a rich GOPnik, she'll be at Saturday's invite-only/political mandarins-only Alfalfa Club dinner in DC. This club began back aways to honor Gen. Robert E. Lee whom, you may recall, did a little something in the Civil War. Why it exists, I don't know. What it does, I don't know. I only know it's too exclusive to include someone like me and is so high-powered that sitting US presidents attend, which means Obama should show. Anyway, Sarah will be there, and that's meaningful because this lady may only leave the frozen tundra two days a month.
She's also launching her national political action committee. Registered in Virginia, patterned after Hillary's HillPac, Sarahpac.com is to support ideas and candidates who share the Palin vision that energy independence is this country's future.
Next month she addresses a Washington gathering of prominent conservatives. She's going ahead with a book. Her Facebook page has 410,000 friends. She wants to influence policy knowing the nation must turn to Alaska as its energy resource. She's planning to be president.
The temperature in Sarah's state was recently 78 below. Question is what will she wear to this Alfalfa dinner - Manolo mukluks?
